Believe… Achieve

“We read the world wrong and say that it deceives us.” – Rabindranath Tagore

False assumptions have a way of leading your life no matter how hard you try to avoid them. If not only professionally, they will affect your private life as well. Yet the rigidity of these preliminarily wrong statements can hopefully be alterable for some: Those who question everything. This is by far the most beneficial side of criticism. It makes you destroy what you have already built and rebuild it in a better way that is the most suited to you.

“The most successful people are those who are good at plan B.” – James Yorke

Never limit your options. I will always have a deep respect to those who try to overpass their current situation in any field. People usually take it negatively when they hear you are trying to find a new job, learning a new course or changing your environment. They immediately think that you are not happy with what you already have. Thus, you failed! What those people are not considering is the notion of evolution. To be more precise, I mean a fast, personal evolution. This happens when you notice that the world around you is slow, when you need to be proactive to feel alive and finally when you become bored quickly. This last point is the ultimate warning sign.

Unfortunately, many people become quickly influenced by the opposite vision and eliminate all their future plans down to the very last hope of fulfillment. They stay miserable for the rest of their lives. First, they become lost and they try to think about it ‘alone’ under the sway of the echoes they already have, finally ending by giving up way before trying. Sadly, they will never know if they were capable of reaching their ideal goals or not.

“Having precise ideas often leads to a person doing nothing.” -Paul Valery

Everyday many people ask me questions: “But why?” meaning they are trying to figure out the reason why I am considering a certain option. However, no why exists. If I had the answer to that question, I would have stopped trying a long time ago.

The solution to avoiding this question of ‘why’? Either you are strong enough to keep your decisions intact or you decide not to share your views. It is a choice and you take responsibility.

No one has the power of knowing the future. You follow your path but you try to shape it the way you want it to be. But the truth is you are never sure of what is to come. Last minute adjustments change everything. And those who are more flexible are those who will succeed the most. Many who ask complicated questions think that they are helping you find your way but they will only cause more confusion than you had to begin with and, for most cases, cause you to drop everything without giving yourself the chance to test your abilities and exceed them. Abilities are not defined permanently because you learn new things every single day and grow to form new skills. You have the power to aim higher. You will achieve it only when you believe in it.

“To go against the dominant thinking of your friends, of most of the people you see every day, is perhaps the most difficult act of heroism you can perform.” – Theodore H. White

Don’t let misunderstandings rule the way you understand the world! Be the hero of your life – And I am sure, Readers, you do not need to be reminded of this…

Faithfully,
